Personal trainers in the crosshairs

Personal trainers have become a form increasingly popular to find a way, because not only they can get a program tailored to your needs and physical ability, but can be less expensive than joining a gym that never leaves.

But Physiotherapists in the UK say there has been a significant increase in the number of patients who were injured during sessions with personal trainers. Sometimes this is because the clients themselves who are pushing for quick results and attributed to the negligence instructors.

But in other cases, injuries are the result of lack of expertise of personal trainer and some trainers just do not know enough about how the body works.

The result is that customers will develop problems that range from frozen shoulder to prolapsed discs, sciatica and even hernia.

While some personal trainers have conducted sports science degree at university, many others have been limited on the basis of a course that lasts only a few weeks, that’s how we read a few weeks!

“It does not take much knowledge to reason that exercise professionals are not produced in courses lasting two weeks, six weeks or 12 weeks,” says Alan Gordon, nutrition specialist with experience of more than 40 years, including specialist qualifications in sports at the University of Loughborough.

Unfortunately, there are over 7000 qualified tuition only for short courses, a figure which increases every year, therefore assess the professionalism of the instructor is essential to our health over training, as cases of disqualified coaches that affect health of its clients, it is increasingly worrying.
